Where We Teach in Pickering
We pick up students across Amberlea, Dunbarton, Liverpool, Rosebank, Rougemount, Brock Ridge, Duffin Heights, and the Pickering Town Centre area. Lessons use Pickering’s naturally well-graded mix of roads:
Quiet crescents and courts
Amberlea and Rosebank — perfect for first-time drivers learning control and observation.
Kingston Road (Highway 2)
Pickering’s main artery — traffic light sequencing, busy left turns, safe following distance.
Whites, Liverpool & Brock Road
Multi-lane practice, lane changes, and plaza entrances.
Bayly Street & 401 interchanges
Merging and highway speed management for full G preparation.
Road Tests for Pickering Students
Pickering has no DriveTest centre of its own. Our students typically test at Toronto Port Union (91 Rylander Blvd) — just across the Rouge — or Oshawa DriveTest (200 John St W), where we also offer road test car rental for $270 including a warm-up drive. We run mock road tests on the streets around both centres.
Current Lesson Prices
Prices and package inclusions can change. Use SparkOn’s central Pricing page for the current lesson, BDE, mock-test, and road-test vehicle options.
Language Support for Local Learners
Language support depends on instructor availability and schedule. Tell us your preferred language when booking so SparkOn can confirm current options before your lesson. Pickering students who recently arrived in Canada tell us the biggest hurdle isn’t driving — it’s understanding what Ontario examiners want. We explain Ontario road-test expectations clearly and step by step.
